Celebrating success in school is something that should be done each and every day. This morning at our Staff Meeting, we celebrated several people and the contributions they make to our school everyday.
Ms. Brenda Morse, our school secretary does just about EVERYTHING to support a smooth operating front office and school building. We count on Ms. Morse to count supplies, do ordering, support with school procedures, etc.; not to mention support the front office by greeting students and parents, signing students in or out, and handling field trip funds. Ms. Morse will be recognized by Mr. Tata next Tuesday at the Board Meeting because she has been selected to receive the WCPSS Employee Excellence Award! We are proud of Ms. Morse and thrilled that she is representing Banks Road Elementary School as an Employee of Excellence!
Mr. Tart and Ms. Mathis were also celebrated for being flexible and for putting students first. We are extremely fortunate to have such a dedicated staff here at BRES! Banks Road Elementary School is truly a special place for staff and students.
